Surely each of us has dreamed of traveling to Hawaii, even my mother, who is a complete NO traveler.

A few facts about Hawaii

The state of Hawaii is a volcanic island chain and consists of 137 islands, eight of which are inhabited. Six of these islands are open to tourists Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai and Hawaii. The Polynesian influence of the people makes this island so beautiful.

Ohana

Our Story of Ohana in Hawaii!

My son and I came to Hawaii from Fiji in 2019 and only spent a few days on the dream island. We explored Waikiki Beach and downtown then reserved a day trip around the island to swim with turtles.

My son was so excited about the turtles and was really looking forward to the trip. On the morning of the excursion, we were at the meeting point very early and one bus after the other left without us. After 30 minutes I asked at one of the buses as we were never on any list. After 1 hour of calling back and forth we were told - sorry we hadn't expected you!

My son's sad face, oh my god, I almost gave up and we went to the center. Suddenly there was a very nice excursion seller in front of me and I told him our story that it was our last day in Hawaii and he just said to my son, don't be sad, I'll do it. He called 2 times. Then he grabbed me and Alejandro by the hand and ran with us to a supermarket, where he spoke to an equally nice lady.

The stranger said wait here the bus is coming in 2 minutes and you do the TOUR. I was so happy and hugged the stranger who just said that's OHANA and a matter of honor. Ohana means family and that's what it felt like.
